Washington, DC – Today, the House of Representatives voted to pass the Senate amendment to H.R. 2617, the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2023, which provides $1.7 trillion to fund the federal government through fiscal year 2023. The new priorities state that just being a "removable noncitizen" is no longer sufficient basis for deportation action.
