Internships

Internships are available in my Washington, D.C., and California offices year-round. Interns gain valuable experience and have the opportunity to attend briefings, Congressional hearings and other events. Interns have a variety of responsibilities, but some duties include fielding phone calls, researching legislation, preparing press clips, and drafting letters to constituents.

Internships are paid. District-based stipends are subject to a weekly minimum-hour requirement.

To apply for an internship, please submit a cover letter, resume and writing sample to CA28.internapp@mail.house.gov. Please specify which office you are applying to. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
