Rep. Chu Announces Winners of 10th Annual Artistic Discovery Congressional Art Competition

Pasadena, CA – On Sunday, May 5, Rep. Judy Chu announced the winners of her 10th annual Artistic Discovery Competition. Now in its 38th year, the nationwide competition is sponsored by Members of Congress to promote and recognize the artistic achievements of high school students. Winners were selected by a committee of judges that took into account style, technique, originality, and creativity. The winning work will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol building for a year with other winning pieces from around the country while other selections will be hung in Congresswoman Chu's Washington DC and district offices. All the winners will also receive scholarships. This year's winners and their artworks are:
