PASADENA, CA — Today, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) announced it was exercising its five-year option period extending the contract for the GEO Group-owned Adelanto ICE Processing Center in Adelanto, California, through December 19, 2029. While the facility will remain open, it’s still under a court-ordered intake prohibition that has been in place since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic in 2020.
