WASHINGTON, DC – Congresswoman Judy Chu (CA-32), Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (CA-08) and Congressman Roscoe Bartlett (MD-06) will continue their “double date” tradition of bipartisan seating at President Obama’s State of the Union address tonight. Last year, Representative Bartlett, a Maryland Republican, joined the two Democratic ladies in a showing of bipartisanship from each of the members.

WASHINGTON, DC: Today the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced its final rule on preventative services covered under the Affordable Care Act. In the decision, HHS maintained that most employers will be required to provide full range preventative service – including birth control without co-pay – to their employees under the Affordable Care Act. The final ruling exempts overtly religious organizations such as churches, but all other employers have one year to comply with the law.
