Judy Chu (CA-28), Brian Fitzpatrick (PA-01), Lisa Blunt Rochester (DE-AL), and Don Bacon (NE-02) introduced the Nutrition Counseling Aiding Recovery for Eating Disorders (Nutrition CARE) Act of 2024. This bill would expand access to care for Medicare beneficiaries with eating disorders by including coverage of outpatient medical nutrition therapy through Medicare Part B.

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Reps. Judy Chu (CA-27), Jimmy Panetta (CA-20), and Terri Sewell (AL-07) introduced the Encourage Americans to Save Act (EASA). This bill would update the saver's tax credit into a saver's match – a federal matching contribution to middle and low income working Americans who contribute to a retirement savings account, whether they save at work through an employer-sponsored plan or on their own through an IRA.
Democratic U.S Reps. Adam Schiff and Judy Chu added their votes in support of House Resolution 8015, the Delivering for America Act, a bill aimed at saving the U.S. Postal Service (USPS), and the right to vote from changes to both by the Trump administration.
The legislation, which passed by a 257-150 House vote, prohibits the Postal Service from implementing or approving any changes to the operations or service levels in effect on Jan. 1 that would impede prompt, reliable, and efficient service.
