WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Rep. Judy Chu (CA-28) announced her appointment to the House Budget Committee that is responsible for overseeing the federal budget process and setting the nation’s fiscal priorities. This includes drafting budget resolutions, overseeing the budget reconciliation process, reviewing federal spending and economic policies, and ensuring fiscal responsibility. The lead Democrat on the committee is Ranking Member Rep. Brendan Boyle (PA-02).
